Diego Costa pleased with Atletico Madrid progression

Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa reveals his delight after his side advanced into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Diego Costa has revealed his delight after Atletico Madrid booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League with a 4-1 win over AC Milan on Tuesday evening.

The Spanish international scored three times over the two legs with the Italian outfit, which saw Diego Simeone's side move into the final eight courtesy of a 5-1 aggregate score.

"I'm doing well in the Champions League and I'm scoring a lot in La Liga too," Costa told reporters.

"We know that this tournament has many great teams and that it is really special playing against them. Every game I play, I try to do my best and things are working out for me.

"[After Kaka equalised], we knew we had to remain calm in the ensuing minutes until things calmed down. We will look to enjoy ourselves in the next round. There will be fantastic teams in the last eight so there's no point choosing a rival."

Costa has scored seven times in the Champions League this season.
