Athletic Bilbao are through to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey courtesy of a 3-1 aggregate win against fellow La Liga side Celta Vigo.

Bilbao were beaten 1-0 in the away leg, but were quickly level on aggregate when Iker Muniain rifled a shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.

Just as it was looking to stay at 1-0 at the break, Markel Susaeta scored on the stroke of half time to put his side ahead on aggregate.

After Hugo Mallo was sent off for his second yellow card, Muniain made sure of his side's qualification with his second on the night with 10 to play.

There was still time for a scrappy fourth goal as Aritz Aduriz was found by Muniain and bundled the ball in via the goalkeeper and his own shin.
