Derby County poised to complete £2.5m deal for Aston Villa's Andreas Weimann?

Championship side Derby County are reportedly poised to complete a £2.5m deal to sign Aston Villa forward Andreas Weimann.

Derby County are reportedly poised to seal a £2.5m deal to sign Aston Villa frontman Andreas Weimann.

New Rams boss Paul Clement has already made a number of moves in order to help shape a squad to compete for promotion next season, and the Daily Mail now suggests that Weimann is close to joining the Championship outfit.

The same report also states that Derby are keen on bringing Tom Ince onto the club's books on a permanent basis.

Clement has so far brought in Scott Carson, Alex Pearce and Darren Bent since taking over from previous coach Steve McClaren.
