Southampton hands debuts to Gaston Ramirez and Maya Yoshida for today's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

Southampton newcomers Gaston Ramirez and Maya Yoshida will make their full debuts for the club against Aston Villa this afternoon.

The home side are still without Jos Hooiveld, who is struggling with a calf problem, while Jack Cork is also absent after being passed unfit.

Villa summer signing Christian Benteke will make his first start for the Villains after scoring during a substitute appearance against Swansea City.

Chris Herd and Fabian Delph were available after shrugging off injuries, but Villa Paul Lambert has not taken a chance on their fitness.
