Aston Villa defender Tommy Elphick will reportedly undergo a medical to seal a loan move to Hull City today.
The 30-year-old joined Villa from Bournemouth in 2016, but spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading.
Elphick enjoyed a successful spell with the Cherries, making 142 appearances and captaining his side to the Championship title in 2015, but has only made 31 appearances since moving to Villa Park.
According to Sky Sports News, Queens Park Rangers were also keen on signing Elphick, but Hull appear to have beaten them to the season-long loan deal.
The Tigers have made six signings so far this summer, including the likes of Reece Burke, Jordy de Wijs and David Milinkovic.
