Remi Garde refuses to discuss Aston Villa future

Remi Garde refuses to speak about the rumours that he is considering his future as manager of Aston Villa.

Remi Garde has opted to not respond to speculation that he may leave Aston Villa in the near future.

Recent reports had claimed that the Frenchman was considering his position as manager at Villa Park following the club's failure to make any new additions during the winter transfer window.

When asked by BT Sport for his take on the rumours, Garde responded: "I'm not speaking about that. It is not the time."

The 49-year-old was speaking after his side had been defeated 2-0 at West Ham United following the early sending-off of Jordan Ayew.

On the match, Garde added: "I feel very sorry for the guys to be beaten after the bravery they showed."

Villa remain stranded at the bottom of the Premier League table, with 10 points between themselves and safety.
