Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has backed Christian Benteke to regain his touch in front of goal sooner rather than later.
The Belgian striker has failed to find the net in his last seven games for the Premier League club.
Despite the 23-year-old's dip in form, Lambert is confident that he will be back among the goals in the near future.
"I'm pretty sure Christian's a victim of his own success but he's created that himself," Sky Sports News quotes the Scot as saying.
"There's nobody he can blame for that other than himself because he set a really high standard for himself and when you fall below it, that's what can happen.
"The challenge is for him to bounce back from that. People forget how old he is, they think he's been around for years. I'm pretty sure he'll come back from it."
Villa continue their Premier League campaign on Wednesday when they make the trip to Southampton.
