Radamel Falcao is likely to leave Atletico Madrid for AS Monaco, claims the French club's goalkeeper Danijel Subasic.

AS Monaco goalkeeper Danijel Subasic has revealed that the newly-promoted Ligue 1 club will sign Radamel Falcao this summer.

The Atletico Madrid striker has been linked with a move to the French outfit in recent weeks, with coach Claudio Ranieri confirming on Monday that they are interested in the Colombia international.

"I will tell you what I have heard, and that is that Falcao is 90% at Monaco," Subasic told Sportske Novosti.

"For sure, it is what they have told us, with only a small possibility that Monaco could only lose him if Real Madrid were to come in, but that is now unlikely.

"If he does not leave for the Bernabeu, he will come to Monaco. Securing promotion to Ligue 1 is said to be only the beginning. The club's plan is to sign five or six of the best players they can."

Falcao joined Atletico from Porto in the summer of 2011.
