Arsenal defender William Saliba has revealed that he has held talks over a new contract.
The France international joined the Gunners in 2019, but he had to wait until the start of the current campaign to make his debut for the club.
Saliba spent time out on loan with Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille, but he has established himself in the Arsenal side this term, starting all eight Premier League games.
While he still has two years left on his current contract, Saliba has told reporters that talks have begun over a new deal despite being in no rush to sign an extension.
After being asked about his contract by reporters, the defender said: "Yeah, we will see. They talk a little bit. We will see."
Saliba played the entirety of Saturday's 3-1 victory over rivals Tottenham Hotspur, ensuring that Arsenal finished the weekend as the league leaders.
