West Bromwich Albion reportedly indicate that they want Arsenal to include Calum Chambers in any offer for defender Jonny Evans.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly told Arsenal that they would like to sign Calum Chambers if they are to allow Jonny Evans to move to the Emirates Stadium.

Both Arsenal and Manchester City are said to be interested in signing Evans during the January transfer window, having missed out on the Northern Ireland international during the summer.

City are currently regarded as the favourites to sign the 30-year-old but it appears that West Brom would prefer to do a deal with the Gunners, providing that they can bring in one of their desired targets.

According to the Daily Star, Baggies head coach Alan Pardew wants to sign Chambers if he is to give the green light to Evans's departure as he looks to strengthen his squad at The Hawthorns.

West Brom have previously been linked with fellow Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy, but it has been suggested that England international Chambers is Pardew's preferred choice.

The 22-year-old has recently returned to the Arsenal starting lineup, making a total of eight starts in all competitions.
