Arsene Wenger: 'Bacary Sagna will stay at Arsenal'

Arsene Wenger insists that Bacary Sagna "loves" Arsenal and wants to stay at the club, despite the defender's recent criticism of the club's transfer policy.

Arsenal manager Bacary Sagna has claimed that the defender has no intention of leaving the Emirates, despite the player's recent comments.

The 29-year-old sparked controversy by hitting out at the Premier League club's transfer policy following the departures of Alex Song and Robin van Persie this summer.

"Bacary loves the club and I think he will stay here," Wenger told the club's official website. "Bacary's interview doesn't reflect the love he has for this club. He has always given full commitment."

Meanwhile, the 62-year-old has attempted to calm rumours that he is poised to sign a new deal at Arsenal.
