Arsene Wenger has remained coy when questioned over speculation that Thierry Henry could make a return to Arsenal.
Recent reports have linked the Frenchman with a potential loan move to the Emirates Stadium as Wenger looks to give attacking support to Robin van Persie.
However, the Gunners tactician refused to confirm or deny whether he was planning a move for Henry, who does not return to New York Red Bulls until March.
"There is no story and if we sign anybody we will inform you," he said.
"I am 15 years in England. I have never told before I sign somebody the name of who I will sign.
"I expect nothing at the moment, just to calm down," he told the club's official website.
Henry is Arsenal's all-time leading scorer and recently had a statue erected in his honour outside the Emirates.
