Valencia have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
The 22-year-old Croatian is believed to be attracting interest from a number of European clubs, with Everton and AC Milan both linked with a move in recent weeks.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal and Milan have both failed with £5m bids, but Valencia could beat their rivals to his signature by agreeing to pay Dinamo's £8m asking price.
"If someone wants one of our key players, it can only be with a memorable bid, if they knock me off my feet," Dinamo manager Zdravko Mamic told Sportske.net. "That is my principle, and the numbers appearing in the media do not interest us."
Brozovic signed a seven-year deal with Dinamo when he joined the club from Lokomotiva in August 2012.
