Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly interested in making a move for Liverpool's frustrated defender Joe Gomez.
The 22-year-old was regarded as one of England's best defensive prospects when joined the Reds from Charlton Athletic back in 2015, but injuries and the rise of others has seen the versatile defender restricted to 46 Premier League games in four seasons.
Gomez was the first-choice partner for Virgil van Dijk at the heart of Liverpool's defence last year but an ankle injury saw him fall behind Joel Matip in the pecking order and he has played just 90 minutes in their current Premier League campaign.
90min.com now reports that the defender is contemplating leaving Jurgen Klopp's side in search of more regular first-team football and a starting place in the England squad, with both Tottenham and Arsenal thought to be keen on signing him.
However, it is likely that Liverpool will set a high fee for Gomez given his youth, versatility and potential, as well as the fact that his current contract at Anfield runs until 2024.
