The agent of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves is reportedly pushing for a move to Arsenal for the Portuguese midfielder.
Mikel Arteta has already waved goodbye to Matteo Guendouzi and Dani Ceballos in recent weeks, while Granit Xhaka is seemingly on the verge of a move to Roma.
Neves has supposedly been identified as an ideal signing in the middle of the park, and the Gunners have supposedly tabled a five-year contract offer to the Portugal international.
According to The Sun, Neves's agent Jorge Mendes remains in regular contact with Arsenal technical director Edu, and he is keen to get a deal wrapped up as soon as possible.
However, the report adds that Wolves' £35m valuation is still proving to be an issue, but the Gunners are set to strengthen their midfield ranks with the signing of Albert Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht.
Neves only made one substitute appearance for Portugal during Euro 2020, and he has amassed 20 goals and 10 assists from 176 appearances at Wolves.
