Roma have reportedly rejected the opportunity to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny on a permanent basis.
The Pole arrived at the Stadio Olimpico from North London in the summer on a season-long loan deal.
As part of that agreement Roma had the option to take the 25-year-old on a long-term contract, but they have decided not to exercise that right, according to The Mirror.
Instead, the report adds that the Serie A outfit have agreed a deal to purchase Internacional's Brazilian keeper Alisson at the end of the campaign.
As for Szczesny, he is expected to return to the Gunners, who are yet to make a decision over his future at the Emirates Stadium.
