Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez linked with Arsenal move

Leicester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez reportedly remains a transfer target for Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Arsenal will make an approach for Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez when the transfer window reopens, according to a report.

The 24-year-old has stood out for the Foxes this season after directly contributing six goals in his side's opening five games.

According to The Express, a number of clubs are interested in taking the Algerian winger but Arsenal currently lead the chase.

Mahrez was also linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium during the summer window, though no formal bid was made by the Gunners.
