Report: Yaya Sanogo close to Crystal Palace loan move

A report claims that Yaya Sanogo is close to joining Crystal Palace on loan from Arsenal.

Arsenal forward Yaya Sanogo is reportedly on the verge of joining Crystal Palace on loan.

Bordeaux were believed to be the favourites for the 21-year-old, who has scored just once for Arsenal since joining from Auxerre in 2013.

However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on monitoring the striker in England and according to The Mirror, a move to Palace is now imminent.

Sanogo has faced a host of criticism for his struggles at the Emirates, but Wenger has always maintained that the forward will come good.

Hull City and Aston Villa have also been linked with temporary moves for the France Under-21 international.
