Report: Arsenal, Liverpool want Claudio Marchisio

A report claims that Arsenal and Liverpool both want to sign Claudio Marchisio this summer.

Arsenal and Liverpool will reportedly go head to head for the signature of Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio this summer.

The 29-year-old played a key role in Juve's domestic double last season, while he was also an ever-present in the team that made it to the Champions League final.

The midfielder's current deal expires next summer, however, and according to talkSPORT, Arsenal and Liverpool are both interested in signing the experienced Italian international.

Marchisio, who has been with Juve since 1993, has made more than 300 appearances for the Italian giants, collecting four Serie A titles in the process.
