Report: Arsenal, Leicester City want Roque Mesa

A report claims that both Arsenal and Leicester City are interested in signing Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa.

Arsenal and Leicester City are reportedly both interested in signing Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa.

The 27-year-old has been at Las Palmas since 2010, first representing the club's B team, before making his first-team debut in 2011 and since helping the Yellows into La Liga.

The midfielder has not missed a single minute of league football at the start of the 2016-17 campaign, meanwhile, helping Las Palmas collect nine points from their four league matches this season.

According to Cadena Cope, both Arsenal and Leicester have enquired over the availability of the midfielder ahead of a move at the start of the January transfer window.

Mesa started his professional career with Spanish side Levante.
