AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Newcastle United.
With the Magpies expected to be purchased by a Saudi Arabia-based consortium, there is persistent speculation regarding a number of high-profile arrivals at St James' Park.
According to MilanLive, Kessie is the latest player to be identified by the Premier League outfit as a possible addition during the next window.
Although the Ivory Coast international has been a key man at San Siro since 2017, it has been widely claimed that Milan are ready to cash in on the 23-year-old.
Even before the coronavirus pandemic, there was a suggestion that Milan would be willing to do business for a fee in the region of £25m.
Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United have also been linked with an approach for the player.
