Arsenal have reportedly told Manchester City that they can sign Samir Nasri for £22m.
Speculation that the 24-year-old winger would move to Eastlands has been rife all summer but now both sides are near to an agreement, according to The Mirror.
City are apparently prepared to pay £15m upfront, plus a further £7m in performance-related bonuses over time, while Arsenal are keen for a one-off payment of £22m.
Nasri has one year left on his contract at the Emirates and has refused to sign an extension, reportedly because he believes he will get double Arsenal's £90,000-a-week proposal by moving to Manchester.
