Ronald Koeman: 'Southampton will sell nobody in January'

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman claims that he will not be selling Morgan Schneiderlin, or indeed any of his other players, in the January transfer window.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has defiantly stated that he will not be selling Morgan Schneiderlin, or indeed any of his other players, in the January transfer window.

The Saints saw several key players leave in the summer, while the highly-rated French midfielder is still said to be on the radar of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Koeman, however, is quoted by The Metro as saying: "We will sell nobody in January.

"Morgan's attitude is fantastic – everybody knows that he had a difficult time in the summer, but finally he accepted his situation and he's doing his best and looking forward to returning to playing [from injury]."

Southampton have dropped to fifth in the Premier League table having lost their last three games.
