Arsenal are reportedly keen to hand a new five-year contract to midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
Despite being regarded as a surprise addition ahead of the start of last season, Guendouzi has managed to establish himself as an important member of Unai Emery's squad.
The Frenchman has already made 35 starts and 15 substitute outings in all competitions, which appears to have led to movement in the Arsenal boardroom.
According to the Daily Mail, Guendouzi will be offered a deal until 2024, an extension of two years on his current contract.
With the 20-year-old also being offered a significant pay-rise, no stumbling blocks are expected during negotiations.
