Arsenal could reportedly face competition from Chelsea in the race for Real Madrid playmaker Martin Odegaard.
The Norway captain quickly won over the Emirates faithful during his six-month loan spell at Arsenal last season, banking two goals and two assists from 20 appearances in all competitions.
Odegaard seemingly confirmed that he would not be returning to Arsenal with a heartfelt social media message, but Real Madrid's need to raise funds means that he is reportedly back on the Gunners' radar.
However, Spanish outlet Fichajes claims that Odegaard - who Real Madrid may be prepared to sell for a fee of £42.5m - is also of interest to Chelsea.
The report adds that Thomas Tuchel's side will only consider a bid if Hakim Ziyech or Kai Havertz seek pastures new, but the former is being heavily linked with a summer switch to AC Milan.
Odegaard signed for Real Madrid as a 16-year-old back in January 2015, but he has only featured on 11 occasions for Los Blancos' senior side so far.
