Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona forward Ferran Torres during this summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been in strong form for Barcelona during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring 11 goals and registering three assists in 27 appearances in all competitions, including five goals and two assists in 18 La Liga outings.
Torres's route into the first XI is blocked by Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal, though, so he will continue to find it difficult to break into the side on a regular basis.
The Spain international scored a hat trick against Valencia in the Copa del Rey in the quarter-finals of the competition, but he then found himself back on the bench against Sevilla in the team's next league fixture.
Torres has only played 14 minutes of La Liga football in the team's last three matches, and it is understood that he could reluctantly seek pastures new this summer due to his frustration at the situation.

Chelsea 'considering summer move' for Torres
A recent report claimed that Arsenal failed with a bid to sign Torres during the January transfer window.
It is understood that the Gunners made a move for the Spaniard to solve their issues in the final third of the field, but Barcelona rejected the offer, which is thought to have been in the region of €20m (£16.5m).
Napoli, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan are also thought to have been in touch with Barcelona in January to register their interest, but the trio were also unwilling to meet Barcelona's €30m (£25m) asking price.
According to Fichajes, there is now genuine interest from Chelsea, with the Blues looking to sign another forward player at the end of the season, as Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku are likely to depart.
The report claims that Enzo Maresca's side are willing to pay €30m (£25m), which Barcelona are likely to accept.

How did Torres perform in the Premier League for Man City?
Torres started his professional career at Valencia, and his performances for Los Che led to Manchester City signing him in August 2020.
The forward represented the Citizens on 43 occasions, scoring 16 goals and registering four assists in the process, including a record of nine goals and three assists in 28 Premier League appearances.
Torres was an impressive performer for Man City, but he headed to Barcelona in January 2022, and the forward has represented the Catalan side on 140 occasions, scoring 36 goals and registering 16 assists in the process.
The Spaniard is an incredibly important squad member for Barcelona, but he will have to leave to become a regular starter, and he could prove to be an excellent signing for Chelsea during this summer's transfer window.
