Santi Cazorla to agree new Arsenal contract?

Santi Cazorla is reportedly expected to sign a new Arsenal contract running until 2017.

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla is reportedly close to agreeing a new contract at the Emirates.

Widespread reports have claimed that both Per Mertesacker and Tomas Rosicky are close to completing fresh terms in North London, and Cazorla is said to be the latest senior player to commit his future.

According to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old is poised to put pen to paper on a deal that includes a salary of around £80,000 per week.

The Spaniard, who joined the Gunners from Malaga in 2012, is expected to be tied down to the club until 2017.
