Arsenal outcast Calum Chambers has reportedly been offered to Roma as the Gunners seek to part ways with the defender.
Chambers moved above Hector Bellerin in the pecking order last season but has been demoted to a bench role following the arrival of Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The 26-year-old is due to become a free agent in the summer of 2022, but Arsenal are supposedly keen to garner a fee for him before he walks away on a free transfer next year.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport - via Football Italia - intermediaries have offered Chambers to Roma, but Jose Mourinho is not convinced by the move.
The report claims that the Roma boss instead wants to prioritise a deal for Manchester United's Diogo Dalot, and the Serie A side are not willing to engage in negotiations with Chambers' entourage.
Chambers has scored five goals and set up 10 more in 121 appearances for the Gunners but has not made the squad for their last seven Premier League fixtures.
