Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offer Alexandre Lacazette to Atletico Madrid in order to secure a deal for Thomas Partey.
Lacazette has notched up seven goals from 20 Premier League outings for Mikel Arteta's side this term, but the Frenchman's future at the Emirates remains up in the air with Arsenal supposedly ready to cash in on the striker.
Furthermore, the North London outfit have been strongly linked with a move for Partey in recent weeks, although transfer dealings are currently shrouded in uncertainty amid the coronavirus outbreak.
According to The Sun, Arsenal are willing to offload Lacazette in a part-exchange deal for Partey, who has made 35 appearances for Atletico across all competitions this season.
The report also claims that Diego Simeone's side could be open to a player-plus-cash deal after failing in their attempts to land Edinson Cavani, and Arteta will have to be inventive with transfers while working under a restricted budget.
Partey's current deal at the Wanda Metropolitano will expire in 2023, and Lacazette's contract at the Emirates is set to run out in 2022.
