Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Lyon attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta in the summer.
The Brazilian international has drawn rumoured interest from across the continent with his performances in Ligue 1 this campaign, with French giants Paris-Saint Germain touted as the most likely destination.
However, according to Calcio Mercato, Arsenal have joined Mauricio Pochettino's side in their pursuit, with the Gunners said to be keen to boost their attacking ranks in the upcoming transfer window.
With the London side currently holding fourth spot in the Premier League, Mikel Arteta is said to be expecting an improved transfer budget in the summer, should they qualify for next year's Champions League.
The 24-year-old has now been identified as a possible target, having contributed seven goals and four assists in 25 appearances in the French top flight so far this term, despite his side's struggles throughout the season, with Les Gones currently sat ninth.
Such a campaign has taken his record to 18 goals and 11 assists for Lyon following a 2020 move from AC Milan, while he has also found the net six times in 29 caps for the Selecao.
