Arsenal target Ryan Fraser admits to being distracted by transfer talk

Bournemouth attacker Ryan Fraser concedes that he has been slightly distracted by suggestions of interest from Arsenal.

Bournemouth attacker Ryan Fraser has conceded that he has been slightly distracted by suggestions that Arsenal are considering a summer move.

Fraser has been in fine form for the Cherries this term and scored his seventh Premier League goal of the campaign in Saturday's 5-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a swoop for the 25-year-old, who has also contributed 11 assists in the top flight during the 2018-19 season.

Fraser has admitted that he has been distracted by the speculation but is 'trying to get on with his work'.

"Maybe it hasn't helped," Fraser told BBC Sport. "Subconsciously, you might think about it. I'm just trying to get on with my work. Every player says that. At the same time, I think the best thing I can do is play well on the pitch. There's no point in stuff coming out and then I start to have bad games."

Earlier this month, Cherries boss Eddie Howe admitted that the Scotland international could leave the Vitality Stadium in this summer's transfer window.
