Arsenal are reportedly preparing to renew their interest in signing an Ajax attacker during the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have been searching far and wide for a new forward without coming close to getting a deal over the line.
Benjamin Sesko has penned a new contract with RB Leipzig, while there is yet to be a willingness from Arsenal to meet the valuations of Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres or Brentford's Ivan Toney.
As a result, Mikel Arteta has been left to consider his options with just three weeks remaining until the start of the new Premier League campaign.
Despite their alleged availability, the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah are still at the Emirates Stadium, yet that could change in due course.

Brobbey remains on Arsenal radar
Over the coming days, it appears plausible that a fee in the region of £35m could be generated from the sale of Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham, while Reiss Nelson has been linked with a loan switch to Leicester City.
That would free up both space in the first-team squad and financial leeway for Arteta to make a significant attack-minded addition to his squad.
According to Sky Sport Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal may be prepared to firm up their interest in Brian Brobbey.
The Netherlands international has been associated with a switch to the Premier League for some time, even publicly namechecking Arsenal and Manchester United as potential destinations.
With the Red Devils having signed Joshua Zirkzee, they have since moved on from Brobbey, seemingly freeing up one of their rivals to make a sustained assault on trying to acquire his signature.

Brobbey available for lower fee than expected?
With Brobbey having contributed 18 goals and 10 assists in 30 Eredivisie appearances last season, his stock has been enhanced considerably over the past 12 months.
Three years also remain on his contract, leaving Ajax in a position where they do not necessarily have to cash in on one of their star men.
Nevertheless, Plettenberg says that Brobbey could be available for less than €30m (£25.3m), less than half what Arsenal would be prepared to pay for Gyokeres.
Although Roma are also said to be monitoring the situation, Brobbey has previously revealed that a move to England or Spain is his preference.
