Arsenal are reportedly one of a number of clubs who are considering an offer for Le Havre midfielder Pape Gueye.
Despite featuring in Ligue 2 this season, Gueye is a former France Under-19 international who has been described as a combination of N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba.
With less than 18 months remaining on his contract, several teams across Europe are said to be monitoring the 21-year-old's development.
According to Estadio Deportivo, the Gunners are interested in adding Gueye to their ranks during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are no strangers to signing unheralded youngsters from France, having most recently brought in Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient in 2018.
Sevilla, AC Milan and Udinese are also said to be admirers of Gueye, who has made 22 outings in France's second tier this campaign.
