Villarreal will reportedly consider offers between €40m (£33.9m) and €50m (£42.3m) for 19-year-old winger Yeremi Pino, who has been linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool.

Villarreal will reportedly consider offers between €40m (£33.9m) and €50m (£42.3m) for Arsenal and Liverpool target Yeremi Pino.

The two Premier League giants have recently been linked with a potential swoop for the 19-year-old winger, while reigning English top-flight champions Manchester City have also been credited with an interest.

Pino has spent the last two seasons in Unai Emery's senior squad and has recorded 14 goals and five assists in 77 appearances across all competitions.

The four-cap Spain international impressed for the Yellow Submarine last season, finding the net seven times and registering four assists in 38 games across La Liga and the Champions League.

A recent report claimed that there is 'strong interest' in Pino from Premier League clubs, with Villarreal now bracing themselves for possible offers in this summer's transfer window.

According to AS, Villarreal are preparing to receive a big-money offer between €40m (£33.9m) and €50m (£42.3m) from either Arsenal or Liverpool.

The report adds that the La Liga side would find it difficult to turn down such an offer which would significantly boost their financial position.

Villarreal allegedly find themselves in a similar situation with Pino as they were with former playmaker Santi Cazorla before he moved to Malaga for around £20m in the summer of 2011.

The Yellow Submarine also face a similar dilemma with star centre-back Pau Torres, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the last 12 months.

Villarreal's club-record sale is that of DR Congo striker Cedric Bakambu, who joined Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan in January 2018 for around £36m.

Pino only extended his contract with the La Liga club in November last year until June 2027, and his new deal now includes an €80m (£67.3m) release clause.

Following Arsenal's 2-0 victory away at Crystal Palace in their opening Premier League game of the new season last Friday, head coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that the Gunners remain active in the transfer market.

"We are going to try. There are a few things we have planned and we are going to try," Arteta told Sky Sports News.

Arsenal have already spent in excess of £110m on five new signings so far this summer, while Jurgen Klopp has added three fresh faces to his Liverpool ranks, spending just over £70m.
