Arsenal reportedly show an interest in recruiting Ghana international Mohammed Kudus from Dutch giants Ajax.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus.

The Gunners have already spent significantly in the summer transfer window, recruiting Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.

Havertz arrived from Chelsea in a £65m deal, before Timber became Arsenal's second summer signing after completing a £38.5m transfer from Ajax.

Arsenal continued their summer spending with the addition of Declan Rice in a British-record transfer said to be worth a total of £105m.

Despite adding three new players to Mikel Arteta's squad, the Gunners are not ruling out further signings during the transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, the North London club are showing an interest in Kudus, who racked up 18 goals and seven assists in 42 appearances for Ajax last term.

With two years remaining on his current contract, Ajax would consider parting ways with the Ghana international for a £40m fee.

The versatile 22-year-old has experience playing in central midfield, in a more advanced position, as a winger and as a central striker.

Since joining Ajax from FC Nordsjaelland in 2020, Kudus has featured in 84 competitive games, registering 23 goals and 11 assists.

Although Kudus is among Arsenal's targets, they are keen to offload players before they delve back into the transfer market.

Arsenal are said to be considering departures for defenders Kieran Tierney, Cedric Soares, Nuno Tavares and Rob Holding.

Albert Sambi Lokonga and Nicolas Pepe are also among those that could leave the Emirates Stadium during the current transfer window.

Thomas Partey has been linked with a move away, but the Gunners will only sanction a sale if they receive a 'huge' offer.
