Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger becomes the latest Premier League manager to ask about the availability of Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly upped his interest in signing a new keeper by taking a closer look at Birmingham City starlet Jack Butland.

The 19-year-old is on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs, with Fulham, Southampton, Liverpool and Everton all believed to be monitoring his progress.

Wenger is thought to want stiffer competition for Wojciech Szczesny and has been alerted by Birmingham's admission that they are willing to listen to offers for the youngster, according to the Daily Star.

Butland has already made more than 50 senior appearances, including making his full England debut against Italy last year.
