Arsenal 'enter race for Piotr Zielinski'

Arsenal join Liverpool in the race to sign Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, according to a report.

Arsenal have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

Zielinski has long been linked with a move to Liverpool, who are believed to have attempted to sign the Poland international in 2016 before he joined Napoli from Udinese.

However, according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Arsenal are also keen to land the 24-year-old and could make an offer when this summer's transfer window opens for business.

Zielinski has contributed five goals in 34 appearances for Napoli this season, with four of those strikes coming in 25 Serie A matches.

The midfielder, who represented Poland at the 2018 World Cup, will see his current contract in Naples expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
