Charlton Athletic defender Joe Gomez has emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal, according to reports.
The 17-year-old, who only made his senior debut last August, has won praise for a series of fine performances for the Addicks this season.
His form is thought to have caught the attention of Arsene Wenger, who is weighing up a move for the youngster, with Guy Luzon ready to let him leave for a fee of around £8m, reports The Mirror.
Gomez, who can operate at either right-back or centre-back, has also won four caps for the England Under-19 side.
