The agent of Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil insists that his client is "very happy" at the club and is not considering leaving any time soon.

The agent of Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has insisted that his client is "very happy" at the club and considers North London his "home".

Ozil is the fifth highest-paid player in the Premier League and the highest paid at Arsenal by some distance, but he has made only 23 appearances across all competitions this season.

The former Germany international has enjoyed much more regular first-team football since Mikel Arteta took over from Unai Emery, though, and his agent Erkut Sogut revealed that Ozil has been impressed by the new boss.

"I think [Mikel] Arteta is a very good manager and he learned from the best coaches in the world. He was on the sidelines with Pep Guardiola for years and I think he knows what he is doing," Sogut told Goal.com.

"Ozil is more than happy at the Emirates Stadium. He loves the club, he loves the fans and he loves the city. This is his seventh year as a Gunner and he loves being a part of the Arsenal community. That is his home."

Ozil has started each of Arsenal's last 10 Premier League games.
