Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. West Ham United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League London derby with West Ham United.

Seeking to respond to a minor setback in their Premier League title hunt, Arsenal journey across the capital to face London rivals West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta's men raced into a 2-0 lead against Liverpool thanks to Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus last Sunday, but the Reds hit back in the second half to claim a deserved point in a 2-2 stalemate at Anfield.

With their seven-game Premier League winning streak now over, Arsenal's lead at the top over Manchester City has been cut down to six points, although the champions crucially still boast a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Hammers, who lie 14th in the Premier League standings.

As is the case with Elneny, injury-plagued right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu will not play again this term due to the knee problem that he sustained against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.

William Saliba

William Saliba's back problem did not let up in time for the draw with Liverpool, and Arteta has now claimed that it could take "a few weeks" for the defender to return to full fitness, putting him at risk of missing a crucial period of Premier League fixtures.
