Sports Mole previews the action from Arsenal's pre-season friendly clash with Manchester City.

Arsenal meet Manchester City for a pre-season friendly in Helsinki this Saturday, a match that will serve as both sides' final warm-up for the new season.

It has been a positive pre-season for the Sky Blues, with victories over AC Milan and Sunderland, as new manager Manuel Pellegrini assesses his squad.

Sergio Aguero could make his first City appearance since the friendly clash with Chelsea in New York on May 25 after returning to full training following an injury layoff.

Yaya Toure and Fernandinho are likely to feature in the heart of the City midfield, with Joleon Lescott partnering Vincent Kompany at the back.

New signings Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo could also feature.

Arsenal's pre-season has been one of frustration in the transfer market, but Olivier Giroud has impressed over the summer with seven goals in five games.

He could partner the Gunners' sole summer signing Yaya Sanogo, a 20-year-old French striker, up front.

Possible starting lineups

Arsenal: Szczesny; Jenkinson, Sagna, Mertesacker, Gibbs; Arteta, Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud; Walcott, Sanogo

Man City: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Kompany, Boyata, Clichy, Fernandinho, Nasri, Milner, Barry, Jovetic, Negredo

Sports Mole says: 2-2
