Preview: Arsenal vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole previews Monday's Premier League clash as Arsenal play host to title rivals Chelsea.

Arsenal can return to the top of the Premier League table tonight if they beat title rivals Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners, who have lost their last two matches in all competitions, are currently one point behind leaders Liverpool in the standings.

However, victory for Chelsea would see the Blues go level on points with the Merseysiders heading into a busy festive schedule.

Managers Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho have never been the best of friends, but the Chelsea boss is likely to be confident ahead of the match due to the fact that he has never lost in nine previous meetings against the Frenchman.

Laurent Koscielny could make a surprise return to the Arsenal squad following an absence through injury, but Jack Wilshere misses out as he starts a two-match suspension.

The visitors welcome back Branislav Ivanovic from suspension, while former Gunner Ashley Cole is expected to start on the bench. Michael Essien is also unavailable due to a one-game ban.
