Premier League in numbers: Week 29

Sports Mole looks back on the 29th round of Premier League matches with a selection of facts from each of the 10 games.

Crystal Palace 3-1 Queens Park Rangers

For the first time ever in a Premier League match, Palace scored three first-half goals.

It helped the Eagles to record their first victory at home since January 10.

Meanwhile, struggling QPR have collected just three points from a possible 42 on the road.


Arsenal 3-0 West Ham United

The hosting Gunners have won eight consecutive Premier League home matches for the first time since 2005.

As for West Ham, they have only won on one of their previous 12 outings.

Sam Allardyce has faced Arsenal 11 times as a manager, but he is still awaiting his maiden victory against them.


Leicester City 0-0 Hull City

Basement side Leicester are without a victory in their last seven Premier League games, five of which they have lost.

The Foxes have kept three clean sheets this season, two of which have come against Hull.

Steve Bruce's Hull have lost only one of their previous six encounters.


Sunderland 0-4 Aston Villa

Sunderland had never previously conceded four goals in the first half of a Premier League match.

The Black Cats have won only two of their 15 home outings this term, scoring just 12 goals in the process.

Villa doubled their goals tally away from home for the season in this match.


West Bromwich Albion 1-0 Stoke City

Baggies striker Brown Ideye continued his recent positive form, having found the net for the fifth time in eight appearances.

It secured West Brom their first ever home Premier League win over Stoke.

The away side had gone into the match on the back of a three-game winning run.


Burnley 1-0 Manchester City

Match-winner George Boyd became the first player to score in both league games against Man City this season.

Four out of Burnley's last five Premier League wins have come at Turf Moor.

Champions City have won just five of their 13 matches in all competitions in 2015.


Chelsea 1-1 Southampton

Dusan Tadic's penalty was only the sixth goal in 14 matches that Chelsea have conceded at Stamford Bridge this season.

Chelsea frontman Diego Costa took his Premier League goal tally for the season to 18.

The Blues have won only two of their last six matches in all competitions.


Everton 3-0 Newcastle United

Roberto Martinez's Everton won for just the second time in 13 Premier League games.

Finding the net from the penalty spot, Romelu Lukaku scored his 17th goal of the season.

Meanwhile, the Magpies have won just four of their previous 19 outings in all competitions.


Manchester United 3-0 Tottenham Hotspur

United have collected 37 points from their 15 home matches this season - a greater return than any other Premier League team.

Captain Wayne Rooney scored his 14th goal in as many Old Trafford appearances.

It took visiting Spurs until the 89th minute to record a shot on target.


Swansea City 0-1 Liverpool

For the third time in the club's history, Liverpool have kept six consecutive clean sheets in the league away from home.

The Reds have taken 32 points from a possible 36 since Christmas, more than any other Premier League side.

As for the Swans, they have lost three of their last five Premier League games.
