Moyes alters the attack: Predicted Everton XI vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Everton could line up for Saturday's Premier League showdown with Arsenal.

Everton head coach David Moyes might consider recalling Iliman Ndiaye to his starting lineup for Saturday's Premier League clash with Arsenal at Goodison Park.

The 25-year-old made his first appearance since the middle of February in Wednesday's 1-0 derby loss to Liverpool, replacing Jack Harrison for the final 20 minutes of normal time.

Ndiaye had previously missed a handful of games with a knee injury, but the attacker came through that cameo unscathed and is now an alternative to Harrison from the first whistle.

However, Moyes should otherwise stick rather than twist up front, as Abdoulaye Doucoure and Carlos Alcaraz continue behind Beto, who may still be replaying that one-on-one miss against Caoimhin Kelleher in his head.

Further back, Idrissa Gueye and James Garner can look forward to reprising their roles in midfield, as can James Tarkowski in defence, having inexplicably escaped a red card on Wednesday evening.

The ex-Burnley man should join Jarrad Branthwaite, Jake O'Brien and Vitaliy Mykolenko ahead of Jordan Pickford once more, although Ashley Young is an intriguing alternative for a couple of reasons.

The veteran defender boasts two goals against Arsenal from the unforgettable 8-2 Manchester United win in 2011, but he has also been booked 10 times versus the Gunners in the Premier League; the most yellow cards a player has received against one team in the competition is 11, Kevin Davies vs. Arsenal and Mark Noble vs. Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton possible starting lineup:
Pickford; O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Gueye, Garner; Ndiaye, Doucoure, Alcaraz; Beto
