Arsene Wenger: 'More to come from Mesut Ozil'

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger suggests that there is more to come from Mesut Ozil after the German netted his first goal of the season against Manchester United.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested that there is more to come from Mesut Ozil after netting his first goal of the season.

The German midfielder got off the mark for the Gunners in their 3-0 defeat of Manchester United before the international break.

Wenger has now called for Ozil to deliver that standard of performance on a more consistent basis.

"You want Mesut to score as well in a big game and he did that against Man United," the Frenchman told Arsenal's official website.

"When you are an offensive player that is an important part of it. I believe there are goals in him and in that game he has shown it.

"I think it can increase the belief and the hunger of the team. On the other hand you have to show that you can come into every game with that focus."

Arsenal travel to Watford on Saturday.
