Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hit back at his critics and insisted that he is the right man to lead Arsenal to success.
The Gunners are without a trophy in eight years and were recently knocked out of the FA Cup by Blackburn Rovers before being beaten 3-1 at home by Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Wenger, though, claims he would not have lasted so long in his job if he did not know what he was doing.
"I'm not 30 years in this job at the top level to be destroyed by people saying I don't know what I'm doing," Wenger said.
"[If I was] I would have stopped this job a long time ago. But we have responsibilities and have to stand up and get the team ready to fight."
The Frenchman went on to praise Santi Cazorla for his performance in today's victory over Aston Villa.
