Arsene Wenger believes that Arsenal fans will see the best of Olivier Giroud next season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that Olivier Giroud has come of age since his £14m summer move from Montpellier HSC.

The Frenchman has found the net 11 times in his 32 Premier League appearances this season, and Wenger believes that he has progressed during his time at the Emirates.

"He's doing very well," Wenger told reporters. "I believe he has moved forward this season and you will see that next season.

"He is still very young but you can see now that there is more urgency in his game.

"He's less of a boy than he was a year ago. He is becoming a man. When he comes on, he plays to affect the game and he has the capability to do it."

Giroud, 26, scored 21 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
