Arsene Wenger disappointed with disallowed goal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger criticises the linesman for disallowing Aaron Ramsey's first-half goal in Monday's Premier League draw at home to Liverpool.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said that a mistake from the officials cost his side the chance to record all three points against Liverpool in Monday's Premier League clash.

Aaron Ramsey found the back of the net for the Gunners in the early stages of the contest, only for the linesman to raise his flag despite the Welshman appearing level with the final defender.

Wenger admitted that his team were "a little insecure at the back" following their enforced defensive changes, but still believes that victory was within their grasp.

"Liverpool had some chances in the first half, but nothing in the second. I believe we had chances in both halves and we kept going. We were unlucky because we scored a regular goal, but that was cancelled by a decision which was very difficult to understand," Wenger told Sky Sports News.

"In the first half we were a little insecure at the back because we had to reshuffle the defence, but in the second half we were much more stable and played quite well. We had enough chances to win the game."

Arsenal have taken four points from their first three league games this season.
