Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has insisted that he and his teammates can take advantage of people not considering the Gunners as serious title contenders.
The North London outfit were tipped to be fighting for fourth spot before the start of the 2013-14 campaign, but 15 games later the Gunners have a five-point lead at the top of the table.
"If we can't be taken seriously just yet when we're five points on top of the league then it's good for us," Szczesny told the club's official website. "We don't need people to take us seriously, the longer they don't take us seriously I think it's better for us - we'll take advantage of that.
"The fact that we're five points clear at the top of the table is a motivating factor, not the people who are not taking us seriously."
Arsenal will take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium tomorrow.
