Nigel Pearson "disappointed" not to beat Arsenal

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson admits that he was "disappointed" not to beat Arsenal in their Premier League meeting at the King Power Stadium.

Nigel Pearson has said that he is "disappointed" that his Leicester City side did not beat Arsenal in the Premier League this afternoon.

Leonardo Ulloa cancelled out Alexis Sanchez's strike to secure a 1-1 draw for last season's Championship champions at the King Power Stadium earlier.

The manager told BBC Sport: "It was another illustration of how difficult the Premier League can be. We played well, but we have played better and been more assured in possession. But we still showed the ability to create things.

"We didn't feel particularly threatened. We felt a lot of the chances they had a punt at were from distance and didn't trouble us.

"We are disappointed not to win. We have to win enough games to meet our objectives this season. We have got more to come. We have got some ability that has not been maximised so far."

Leicester are 15th in the table after three matches.
